ABADAYA began in Barangay Darapidap, Candon City as a savings and credit cooperative for local fisherfolk, and is now registered with the Cooperative Development Authority as the Abadaya Fisherfolks and Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative, serving fisherfolk and farmers alike.
